Welcome to our family
When you choose Hillsdale Academy, you are making a statement about the kind of person you want your child to become: someone who is equipped to live well and is prepared for a lifetime of learning; someone who embodies the Good, pursues the True, and cultivates the Beautiful.
If you are interested in exploring Hillsdale Academy, please contact us at (517) 439-8644 or [email protected] We invite you to come visit to learn more about our program, tour our school, observe a classroom lesson, and meet our faculty and staff.
The application for admission can be found below, and the new family priority application deadline is February 15. Applications submitted after that date are accepted and evaluated on a rolling basis as space is available. If an applicant meets all the criteria for admission to a class that is full, the student can be put in a waiting pool and may be admitted if space becomes available.
Tuition & Fees
Because we believe so strongly in the value of a Hillsdale Academy education, we do everything we can to make it affordable. In fact, Academy tuition is significantly less than the average for private schools across the nation due to generous donors who have built our endowment and provide ongoing financial support for the education we provide.
- Kindergarten: $4,650
- Grades 1-6: $7,100
- Grades 7-12: $7,350
Hillsdale Academy offers need-based tuition scholarships to families who qualify in order to reduce their tuition obligation. Over 50% of our students receive some level of need-based financial aid—all made possible by our generous donors.
To be considered for a tuition scholarship, new families need to have submitted an application for admission, while returning families need to have completed their reenrollment forms. The financial aid application deadline is March 1. Applications submitted after that date are considered on an individual basis as funding permits.
Hillsdale Academy Parents Association | HAPA
Hillsdale Academy parents are active partners in their children’s education and often take part in school programs, field trips, and other events. All Academy parents are members of HAPA (the Hillsdale Academy Parents Association) which supports the school through various activities and fundraisers.
